Burleigh to Palm Beach Road Upgrade
Project Outline
Burleigh to Palm Beach is part of the Pacific Motorway M1 upgrade The project involves road widening to 3 lanes on both directions including construction of 6 new bridges and the widening of the existing motorway bridges.
Scope of Works
The project contracted to Avopiling QLD Pty Ltd by SMA JCV (Albem, McIlwain and SCQ) will be undertaken on multiple visits to construct the foundations of the Tallebudgera Creek Bridge and retaining walls. The bridge are made up group of bored piles with permanent casings, 39No 900mmØ X 16.00 metres, 6No 1200mmØ X 12.00 metres and 42No 1500mmØ.X 25.00 metres and 40No 550 octagonal x 25.00 metres driven piles Retaining walls are to be made up of 600mmØ X 8.00 bored piles.
