Turbo Jet
High-pressure soil mixing system that injects cement grout while cutting and blending soil to form defined soil-grout columns for ground improvement and cut-off walls.
Application
Turbo Jet is commonly used where ground improvement or hydraulic cut-off is required in challenging soil conditions. The system breaks up existing soil strata using high-pressure grout jets, while mixing blades blend the grout and soil to form uniform columns. The entire process is monitored through onboard instrumentation within the rig cab, providing operators with real-time feedback to optimise grout delivery and minimise blowback or material wastage.
Advantages
- Suitable for installation in most soil types
- Fast and precise installation process
- Designable strength and permeability characteristics
- No harmful vibration to surrounding structures
- Minimal spoil generation
- Reduced grout wastage compared to other soil mixing methods
- Efficient solution for ground improvement and cut-off wall construction
