Parramatta Square 3
Project Outline
Parramatta Square Stage 3 (PSQ3) is part of the 1PSQ development by Leighton Holdings and the Parramatta City Council. Construction of Stage 1 and 3 is underway and being constructed by John Holland Pty Ltd.
Scope of Works
Avopiling Australia was engaged by John Holland to mainly contruct the Diaphragm Wall system of Stage 3 and awarded the contract in November 2015. Prior to constructiion of the D-wall, 13Nos x 750mmØ foundation piles have to be built for the ramp access leading to ongoing construction of 1PSQ and the removal of existing anchors along the proposed D-wall.
The D-wall is 111.00 meters long X 640mm wide and depths up to 14.00 meters. Construction of the diaphragm wall commenced in 29 February 2016.
