West Connex New M5N St Peters Interchange Pumping Stations
Project Outline
The project within St Peters Interchange consist of three pumping stations or shafts with each shaft having 2 different pile diameters. Bored pile using segmental casing was the recommended system to build the structure.
Scope of Works
Working for CPB Dragados and Samsung JV, Avopiling was awarded to construct the shafts with bored piles using 1000mmØ and 1180mmØ segmental casings. At Pumping station no. 1, 25.50 meters of segmental casing are being installed. Avopiling tasked is to install 41No-750mmØ, 41No-1000mmØ and 108No-1180mmØ bored piers all with segmental casing to depths up to 30.00 meters.
